Safe Travel – Deaths and Serious Injuries
The first section shows a total summary of deaths and serious injury (DSI) counts by category for the current year.
The pie chart shows the percentage of category DSI against total DSI. The bar chart shows a visual of category against total DSI and how the last five years’ DSI counts are trending.
The bar chart shows a visual of category against total DSI and how the last five years’ DSI counts are trending.
The bubble chart shows how much the categories are trending up (worse) or down (better). The higher the category bubble, the worse the DSI is trending. Bubbles below the 0% line are improving.
The second section compares the DSI counts for the last five years.
The third section is analysis of the selected ONF data categories for the year.
The fourth section is a heatmap. It shows whether the annual DSI count for each category over the last five years is getting worse (Red), reducing (Green), staying the same (Yellow), or there is no DSI in the category (Grey). The heatmap compares the RCA with their peer group, region and the National figures. The percentage is calculated by dividing the five year trend by the average DSI count across the five years. E.g. if there was an average of 10 DSI per year and the trend is increasing by 1 DSI per year, the percentage will be 10%.
The fifth section is comparative analysis by ONF street categories against peer group, region and National.
Filter ONF street categories by clicking off or on the street category. If the ONF street category is filtered out, the filter colour will be faded. Or select “Urban” or “Rural” to just see those categories.
Upon clicking on a filter, the graphs will automatically refresh and display data based on the filter selection. Hover the mouse over a graph object and a graph popup will display data about the graph object.
