Help and Support

The Basics

Select the RCA, region or the National network that you wish to see results for, using the selector in the top orange bar. In some pages you can also choose a reporting year. 

Click the sidebar menu toggle at top left to switch the menu between icons and full text 

Use the Menu at the left to navigate your way around Transport Insights. Click the menu group (Performance, ONRC, ONF, Data Quality, etc) to see the items available under that module.

• “Performance > Dashboard” navigates to dashboards of network-level Performance Measures for RCAs, regions and National.
• “ONRC > Reports” navigates to the list of available Performance Measures reports using the One Network Road Classification (ONRC) .
• “ONF > Transport Outcomes” navigates to the list of available Performance Measures reports using the One Network Framework (ONF) road classification.
• “Data Quality > Dashboard” navigates to the Data Quality dashboard.
• “Help & Support > Help” navigates to the Help pages such as this one.

Sign in to see additional reporting for your RCA. Contact your RCA's Transport Insights administrator to arrange a login if you do not have one. 

To find a Performance Measure report, select the menu item and click the performance measure tile or category to see the charts.

Click the in-page navigation options to jump between pages within a module.

Click the Download PDF option on a page to download a PDF of the chart/s on the page.

Click the Chart Download option on a chart to download the chart as a .PNG, .SVG or .CSV.

Click the (?) flyout option at the top right of a page to see a flyout that contains supporting information for the page including relevant links.

Click the (i) information popup beside the heading of a section or chart to see specific information about the section or chart.

Trend reporting

Some charts plot linear trends over several years. Linear trends show as straight lines above the bar graphs, as in the example below:

• A green line indicates the trend is improving
• A red line indicates the trend is deteriorating
• A black line indicates the trend is neutral

Comparative Reporting

Some pages provide comparative reporting with other RCAs, regions etc. Click 'Comparative' or ‘Compare Networks’ to see the comparative chart. You can choose which combinations of RCAs, Regions, Peer Groups, State Highways, and National network, to compare on the report.

Reports for group networks (Regions, Peer Groups, National)

For some performance measure reporting, you can see the results for a group network (a Region, a Peer Group, or National) by choosing the group network in the selector in the orange bar.
