Home page

The content of the menu and Home page in Transport Insights will depend on which network you are looking at. You can change the network using the drop down list beside the Te Ringa Maimoa logo in the orange bar. The network defaults to National if you are not logged in.

When you select a Road Controlling Authority (RCA) , the home page will show:

• A series of RCA Performance indicator tiles to the left. These indicators are taken directly from the Performance Dashboard.
• A map of New Zealand in the middle of the page. The map shows the latest Territorial Local Authority results for the selected RCA indicator (defaulting to Safety).
• A list of the ONRC network lengths for the RCA on the right.

The map and indicators use the same legend and colour bands that are defined in the Supporting Notes in the Performance Dashboard.

The indicators and map show the latest known results for the RCAs. 

Click each indicator tile on the left to update the map.

Hover over the map to see individual values for different RCAs.

From the bottom right of the home page, click the ONRC or ONF Network Characteristics links to see more network summaries for the RCA.

If you select a Region, Peer Group or National, the map and indicator tiles will show but no Performance indicator results will be shown in the tiles.

The equivalent RCA Report indicators are not yet available for Regions, Peer Groups, or National.
